This year’s Game Awards has wrapped up and just like the nominations, Baldur’s Gate III reigns supreme taking home six awards. It says a lot considering how many amazing games came out this year. Just like Baldur’s Gate, Alan Wake II had an amazing night (and musical number.) Developer Remedy Entertainment took home three awards, and Forza Motorsport also had a good night taking home multiple awards.
Baldur’s Gate III won awards for Best Performance, Best RPG, Best Multiplayer, Best Community Support, Players’ Voice, and the coveted Game of the Year. Alan Wake II won Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction. Forza Motorsport won Innovation in Accessibility and Best Sports/Racing Game.
