The Game Awards 2023 has just dropped one of the biggest surprises of the entire event. God of War Ragnarok is getting brand new content, and the best part? It’s completely free! Santa Monica Studios revealed God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, which sees the main protagonist Kratos enter into a new journey. Oh and it’s coming very soon, as in next week on December 12, 2023!
The trailer shows Kratos entering a new area, with enemies that are very familiar if you’ve ever played the original God of War title. The music also takes some cues from the orginal entry, and we even get to see the mini cyclops again! Acording to the description in the video, God of War Ragnarok Valhalla will use ” brand new elements inspired by the roguelite genre.” It’s possible that this DLC plays differfently than the main base game, but either way we’re very excited to get out hands on this in less than five days!
God of War Ragnarok Valhalla launches next week on December 12.
