The Elder Scrolls VI is set to be an Xbox exclusive, as per documents revealed in proceedings from the FTC v. Microsoft trial. The status of whether the highly anticipated Bethesda title since Microsoft’s $7.5 billion purchase in 2021 would make it to the PlayStation has remained unanswered.
The document from the trial titled “Microsoft’s approach following acquisitions since 2018” lay out a chart of several games such as Ghostwire Tokyo, Fallout 76, Starfield, and The Elder Scrolls VI, among others. All the titles on the list have already been released, except Elder Scrolls VI, which the chart reveals more information about for.
From Microsoft’s responses in the FTC vs Microsoft case. Elder Scrolls VI listed here as Xbox and PC and releasing 2026 or later.

Currently, as per the Microsoft document, The Elder Scrolls VI will not be a multiplayer title, nor cross-platform, as well it explicitly states the title will not come to PlayStation. Furthermore, a release date three years away, set for 2026— or even longer is the current anticipation.
Beneath each of the titles, Xbox boss, Phil Spencer provides a quote regarding exclusivity of games, particularly for The Elder Scrolls VI, “In order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls 6.”
The Elder Scrolls VI was first announced in 2018, and revealed to be in early development late last month. Since Microsoft’s purchase of Bethesda nearly three years ago, future Bethesda titles have been expected to be exclusive to Xbox. Games such as the recently released Starfield are exclusive to Xbox players. Setting up an exclusive release for The Elder Scrolls VI solely on Xbox consoles would be controversial at best, as the title is highly anticipated by players to experience the next of the Elder Scrolls story.
