The Division’s Latest Update Out Tomorrow For PC And Xbox One But Delayed On PS4

The Division is releasing a huge patch on June 28, and it is an extensive list of updates and small changes. The update titled 1.3 will be launching for PC and Xbox One tomorrow, as promised with the patch will bring the first for-pay DLC. Due to exclusivity agreements with Microsoft PS4 will have to wait for the new patch and new DLC.

However in a live-stream set on Twitch the developers of The Division said they would be bringing the patch to PS4 Tuesday of next week at the earliest. This update will include very big changes since the game was launched and will change a few combat mechanics.

The first change players will notice is the God-like sub machine gun class is getting a massive nerf across every stat line. The AUG and Vector SMGs will have various attributes nerfed due to the fact that they were just too powerful. This will affect all versions of the SMG wether in the player’s stash or out in the world.

At the same time the developers are making LMGs a more attractive class of weapon from this update. A new perk will grant LMGs more damage to enemies out of cover. Shotguns have also been buffed as they are not completely useless now, they have a chance to stagger and stun enemies.

In addition to all of these weapon and perk changes the 1.3 update also fixes over 50 bugs and will grant players a new social environment. The Terminal will now be accessible from the back of your base of operations or as a fast travel point.

Happy Looting.
