The Biggest Update Yet For Among Us! Has Just Launched

The biggest update yet has just been launched for Among Us! that will drastically change the dynamics of the game. The biggest change is the addition of four new roles for players to take on. First is the Engineer, which will allow players to travel through a vent in order to move from room to room quickly, much like how a secret passageway in the board game Clue functions. The second is the scientist who will have a constant account on the vitals of other players. The shapeshifter is a new role for the imposter which will allow them to change into the skin of the players it has killed, and the guardian angel, once killed, will be able to protect other players that are still playing from the imposter. These new roles will add a fun and complicated new twist to the gameplay. Check out the video below for a more in-depth understanding of exactly what each new role will look like.

Also included in the new version 2021.11.09 is a new cosmiccube system that will create new unlockable cosmetics. These will both have free and paid versions that will give players access to unique items that will let their player stand out. These cosmiccubes will have their own currency of beans and stars and necessitate gameplay in order to be collected.

The official announcement of everything in the update can be found on the game’s official website. Though they will be cosmetic items only, this new cosmiccube system in tandem with the new leveling system creates new incentive to keep players engaged for longer in the game. This update turns this simple fun way to pass time into a game that can now be played for achievement. If you haven’t tried Among Us! yet, now is a great time to check it out. You can find it on the Apple Store and on the Google Play store.
