The release date for the highly anticipated Terminator Survivors game has been delayed to next year. The announcement was made by a statement on the game’s official Twitter/X account.
According to Nacon, the delay is due to them wanting to deliver a game that reaches their vision and fans expectations. While they recognize, that pushing back the release date could be a disappointment for many, Nacon believes that they have made the correct decision.
“…Over the past few months, we’ve been really impressed by your enthusiasm and amazed by the response to our announcements, and we know how eagerly fans are awaiting Terminator: Survivors,” the statement read.
“To realize our vision, and to make sure to deliver the game that fits your expectations, we need some additional time. Thus, we will be pushing the launch to 2025…We are grateful for your understanding and support. We’ll be back.”
Terminator Survivors is an upcoming game set in the iconic Terminator franchise. Four years after the events of Terminator: Judgment Day, players take control of a group of survivors as they fight to survive and establish a base of operations in the early days of the resistance.
Whether it’s solo or co-op, players must search for materials, information, and other survivors while avoiding Skynet’s machines, who are hunting you down to fulfill their mission to eradicate of all humanity.
