Lucid Games has joined the Tencent family! Earlier this month, LightSpeed Studios acquired Lucid Games to further Tencent’s expansion and investment in the video game market.

Since the team will now be under new management, questions about the studio’s well-being began to flourish. Nevertheless, Lucid Games reassured their audiences that they will retain full autonomy during their creative and operative processes. Rather, the developers mentioned that being under a part of LightSpeed Studios, and Tencent as a whole, will allow them to have more stability when producing their content.
