CremaGames released a new trailer yesterday for the upcoming turn-based Pokémon-like RPG Temtem. The new trailer revealed the Temtem that every player will start with, including their base stats and their special moves. The trailer also revealed several different categories of Temtem types that players will be able to use and their weaknesses.
The first Temtem that the trailer unveiled was Crystle. Crystle is a Crystal-Type Temtem native to Tucma and is described as “cute but tough.” Crystle’s best stats are Defense and HP and its special move is Crystal Spikes. Crystal Spikes is very effective on Electric-type and Mental-type Temtem. If players want to find even more Crystal-type Temtem when the game releases, they can head to the mines of Keztal. Smazee is a fluffy monkey-like Temtem that is described as an “elegant battle machine.” Their stats are based largely on Attack and Speed. Smazee’s special move is a Melee-type move known as Uppercut which is very effective against Earth-type and Crystal-type Temtem. While its type was not revealed in the trailer, it is likely that it is a Melee-type Temtem. Houchic is a Mental-Type Temtem and is described as “empathic and intuitive.” Houchic’s best stats are its Special Attack and its Speed Stat. Its special move is Beta Burst and is best used against Neutral-type and Melee-type Temtem.
Back in July, CremaGames announced a second edition of “Choose-a-Temtem Mini Game” in which players could vote on the design of a specific Temtem. Unfortunately no new information is available about which Temtem design won, but it is possible that more information will be revealed at a later date. While the game’s release date has not been announced yet, gamers will be able to receive early access to the game on January 21st if they pledged $20 or more to their Kickstarter page. The game will eventually be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
