Telltale Games have released the debut trailer for their latest episodic point-and-click adventure role-playing game, The Wolf Among Us. Based on Bill Willingham’s critically acclaimed comic series, Fables, The Wolf Among Us will follow the exploits of hard boiled detective Bigby The Wolf – think Humphrey Bogart and Wolverine’s hairy grown up baby- as he attempts to police the unpoliceable Fabletown, a refugee town for fairy tales forced from their lands. The game will closely follow the highly successful gameplay structure established by Telltale’s The Walking Dead, so expect lots of clicking on things and regretting conversation choices you made six hours ago.

The Wolf Among Us was previously put on hold due to the unprecedented success of The Walking Dead (because being amazing is hard) but, according to Telltale, fans can expect to be dusting Miss Muffet’s curds and whey (for prints) this fall.
