Teacher Gets Epic Games To Send His Students A Message: Stop Playing Fortnite In Class

Fortnite is unavoidably popular right now, breaking records at every turn, with millions of players on at any given time. It is no surprise that some of the games younger crowd has even taken to playing the mobile version of the game while they should be paying attention in class.

One noble teacher decided to stand up and deliver a message to Epic Games, the developers behind Fortnite. In a since deleted Reddit thread on the Fortnite subreddit, Mr. Hillman asked for the team to mess with his students by including message from him in the game itself for them to discover while they were playing. According to GameRant, the post read as follows:

Hey Epic,

First, I love your game. My friends from college and I play pretty much every night. One problem, since mobile came out my students won’t stop playing in class. Idk if it’s possible, but I told them I’d write you and they didn’t believe me. Could you add this to the loading screen for a couple days to mess with them?

“Mr. Hillman says stop playing in class”

Understand if you can’t. But thanks for your time…. Also, Gus for life.. That is all. Thanks

Here is where the real fun begins. It looks like someone from Epic saw his plea and decided it would be an excellent use of their time to fulfill his request. One twitter user pointed out that players on iOS began to see this message from time to time while the game was loading:

Hopefully this important PSA will remind students everywhere to stop playing Fortnite in class! And wherever he is, we hope it has made Mr. Hillman an absolute legend.
