Today developer Nocras and publisher PLAYISM announced the release date of their new game, Tasomachi: Behind The Twilight. The game is set to release next week, April 14 on PC through Steam and GOG. For those unaware, Nocras has done work on some major AAA titles in the past, such as the 3D design on Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Final Fantasy XIV, as well as 2D art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Tasomachi: Behind The Twilight is a 3D anime platforming adventure game with a focus on relaxing exploratory gameplay.
In Tasomachi: Behind The Twilight, you play as Yukumo, who crash lands in a mysterious town inspired by East Asian culture. Players will explore the town and fulfill requests of the cat-like inhabitants known as the Nezu Tribe. By completing these tasks players will earn collectibles and resources in order to repair their airship and explore even more areas. Locations in the game will include snow-covered mountains, cherry blossom-covered gardens, ancient temples, and more. Gameplay in Tasomachi: Behind The Twilight is meant to be a relaxing experience that can be taken at the player’s own pace due to the exclusion of any sort of health system. Players will also be able to collect different outfits and decorations that can be used to customize the appearance of both their character and their room in the city.
Tasomachi: Behind The Twilight will release next week on April 14 on PC through Steam and GOG. Those who are interested in the game are currently able to wishlist it on Steam in order to be notified when the game finally releases.
