Tales Of The Neon Sea Has Launched On Steam

Earlier this week, Tales of the Neon Sea launched its release on the Steam Store. This retro-styled, pixel-art puzzle-adventure game tells the story of a private investigator trying to solve a murder case. The game was developed by Palm Pioneer and published by Zodiac Interactive. The project, which found its start on Kickstarter.com, currently includes the first three chapters of a much larger overarching storyline. The studio hopes to release the next following chapters later on in the year, possibly this fall.

The game takes place in the near future, where humans and robots live amongst one another, despite a noticeable tension between the two. However, cooperation is necessary for survival. Our hero is a private investigator with a habit of drinking until intoxicated. His routine is halted when he comes across a case involving tracking down a dangerous criminal with a history of evading justice.

Palm Pioneers estimates between eight and twelve hours of gameplay. Test your skills with these puzzles designed to “challenge your sense of logic, observation, and patience.” Players will join the case by assisting in inspecting the crime scene, collecting and reviewing evidence, and using their own powers of deduction to help the detective solve the case. Can you find the truth in a city of deception?

Tales of the Neon Sea is available for purchase on the Steam Store. The game currently offering a limited time special promotion of 10% off on the game’s price. This offers ends May 6th, so take advantage of this discount now if you think you’re up for the mysterious case.
