Tales of Arise May See a Sequel or More At Tokyo Game Show

Bandai Namco’s Tokyo Game Show 2023 premieres next month on September 23rd. The line-up of games includes Tekken 8, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, and others among them. However, Tales of Arise isn’t among the list, and instead has received its own “2nd Anniversary Livestream”, during the Tokyo Game Show.

Since releasing back in September 2021, Tales of Arise hasn’t seen any massive updates, DLC, or other news to the highly anticipated game. Rumors swirled when a trademark titled Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn was registered in Europe, spurring discussions that a sequel was in the works. Since then no information has been indicated.

The separate livestream for Tales of Arise details that fans can expect a celebration of 2 years since Arise was released, along with new updates on the Tales of series. This has of course grown larger speculation that either a Tales of Arise sequel, or the next major Tales of title will be revealed during the livestream.

The Tokyo Game Show 2023 takes place September 21st to the 24th, with The Tales of Arise 2nd Anniversary Special Live Stream premiering September 23rd.
