The latest trailer for the second installment in the Surgeon Simulator series just released. Undoubtedly wackier than the original, the newest trailer gives a glimpse into the new Creation co-op mode. Developer Bossa Studios has announced that the cooperative mode will feature up to four players, as they create new surgical facilities and environments to operate in. With the new Bossa Labs Creation Tool, players will be able to create a number of different things, including bowling alleys, museums, and any other location creators can imagine. Players will be able to build complex new areas with up to three others at once, and then immediately upload them to be shared with the community. Surgeon Simulator 2 will feature a single-player campaign similar to the original, along with multiple new modes for more players.
Much like the original, Surgeon Simulator 2 will feature the same extremely wacky style of open-surgery on patients. The newest Surgeon Simulator will also feature a variety of new tools, environments, and challenges for players in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. While no planned DLC has been announced, the studio has announced that the game will receive continual updates similar to the first Surgeon Simulator. An exclusive “Deluxe Edition” of Surgeon Simulator 2 is also on sale right now and will include number of special cosmetics. More information can be found on the official Surgeon Simulator 2 website.
Bossa Studios has also announced an official release date for Surgeon Simulator 2, along with new pre-order information. The newest Surgeon Simulator game will be releasing on August 27th of this year via the Epic Games Store. Anybody who pre-order the game now will receive access to the game’s closed beta that will be running from August 7th-9th. Pre-orders will also include exclusive bonus cosmetics that have not been revealed yet.
