In Super Meat Boy Forever you play as the titular Meat Boy and his girlfriend Bandage Girl as they attempt to rescue their child Nugget from the clutches of the evil Dr.Fetus. The game builds off of the tough as nails platforming of its predecessor with thousands of new handcrafted levels which procedurally assemble themselves, making each play through feel unique. The player will also have to master the new moves added to Meat Boy’s Arsenal including slide and plummet maneuvers, and a punch attack, as well as a slew of new power ups scattered in the levels. Super Meat Boy Forever also features a number of secrets and optional challenges that will give players plenty of new things to do every time they restart the game.
Super Meat Boy Forever is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The game is available for $19.99 USD with those who buy the game in the next week receiving a 10% discount. A PC version will be coming eventually, and those who are interested are currently able to wishlist the game on Steam in order to be notified when the game is finally released on that platform.
