Super Meat Boy Forever, the newest title of the popular violent endless-runner platforming franchise from 2010, finally has a release date for Nintendo Switch as it was announced earlier today at the 2020 Indie World Showcase from Nintendo Review along with other exciting game information. After a long period of no news or information, we now know that it is expected to release on December 23rd on Switch exclusively before it comes to PS4 and Xbox One. However, there is still no information yet on when it is expected to release on those consoles.
With thousands of levels to play through and millions of saws to avoid, #SuperMeatBoyForever will put your platforming skills to the ultimate test when it comes to #NintendoSwitch on Dec. 23! #IndieWorld pic.twitter.com/HtL1L6zWCA

In Super Meat Boy Forever, players will play as Meat Boy and Bandage Girl trying to find their kidnapped daughter, Nugget, and can expect the same violent platforming action they know and love from the original, complete with hundreds of saws, but with new moves. Now they can slide, dive and attack which will be useful with the new challenges and obstacles Super Meat Boy Forever will throw at them.
However, the developers, Team Meat, have designed it so that each playthrough is created through randomizing and assembling thousands of possible levels. Each level will have 100 “chunks” of obstacles and every time a player finishes the game, they can play again with harder “chunks” being randomly generated into their levels to increase the difficulty in this endless-runner platformer – one of the major aspects of the Super Meat Boy franchise.
Luckily, in a little more than a week, users can finally look forward to playing and replaying Super Meat Boy Forever on their Switch after it has been teased for the past couple of years.
