Com2uS is giving players of Summoners War plenty of reasons to log in this month, with two major events running through September 30. The long-running mobile RPG, now celebrating its 11th anniversary, is offering a Default 5★ Monster Summon Event alongside its ongoing collaboration with Tekken 8, according to a press release.

The Default 5★ Monster Summon Event rewards players simply for checking in. Over the course of 28 days, they will be able to summon Monsters from the Fire, Water, and Wind attributes in five separate weekly periods. At the end, one final Monster can be chosen from the five summoned, and duplicate options will not appear in the lineup. Collab Characters introduced in last month’s update are also included, making this one of the more generous summon events in recent memory.

Summoners War has been steadily growing its audience across Eastern and Western markets since its launch in 2014, and Com2uS has been celebrating the anniversary with both digital promotions and real-world events. The Default 5★ Summon adds to that list, giving longtime players and newcomers alike an easy chance to strengthen their rosters.

Running in parallel is the Summoners War x Tekken 8 collaboration, highlighted by a Transmogrification for Nina Williams. Completing four weekly missions—ranging from collecting Tekken Coins to clearing Arcade Battles—unlocks the transformation, equipping Nina in her iconic white wedding dress from the Tekken series. Players can also earn a Tekken Scroll and five collaboration-themed emojis.

Additional missions ask players to defeat bosses of each attribute 30 times, with rewards in the form of unique mask items based on popular Summoners War Monsters. These masks can be used in the collab minigames and provide special abilities. The latest of these, Jump Jump, draws inspiration from Super Action Hero 2 and tasks players with climbing skyward across moving and disappearing platforms, collecting points along the way.

For a limited time, players can also visit the Collab Surprise Shop, which runs until September 14. The shop offers a mix of items in exchange for Crystals, and anyone logging in during its run can collect a free Mystical Scroll each day.

Tekken 8 itself, the latest entry in Bandai Namco’s long-running 3D fighting series, has already sold millions of copies worldwide. It introduces new mechanics like the Heat system and Special Style, while continuing the saga of Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. Nina Williams remains one of its standout characters, now crossing over into Summoners War in time for its anniversary celebration.
