Summer Games Done Quick 2019 Schedule Announced

Games Done Quick has announced the schedule for Summer Games Done Quick 2019. It will take place in Minneapolis, MN June 21-30, 2019. Games Done Quick is a series of charity video game marathons. The events feature high-level gameplay by speedrunners who are raising money for charity. As of today, Games Done Quick has raised over $19.3 million dollars. In their nine-year history, Games Done Quick has partnered with several charities. SGDQ 2019 will support Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres is a non-profit organization that delivers emergency medical aid worldwide to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care.

On Sunday, June 23, games such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Spyro the Dragon, Portal 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Devil May Cry, and Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 are set to be played.

Monday, June 24 has Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Metroid, Ducktales 2, Titanfall 2, Borderlands 2, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and more.

Tuesday, June 25 will see games such as The Textorcist, Slot Car Rivals, Split/Second, Ape Escape, and Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy.

Wednesday, June 26 has Mort the Chicken, Catlateral Damage, Glover, T.R.A.G., Clustertruck, Dark Souls II, and Aero the Acro-Bat 2.

The Thursday, June 27 lineup includes Super Bomberman 2, Gauntlet, Cave Story, Fire Emblem Fates, Kingdom Hearts III, Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario World, and Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Friday, June 28’s lineup will have Pac-Man World, Sly Cooper And The Thievius Raccoonus, Quake, Half-Life, Minecraft, Tetris Effect, and more.

On Saturday, June 29, the lineup of games includes Metal Slug X, Cannon Spike, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend, Transistor, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Chrono Trigger.
