Polish game developer The Astronauts revealed early access for its upcoming game Witchfire at Summer Game Fest 2023. Witchfire is a dark-fantasy rogue-like first-person shooter for “people who hate rogue-likes”, promising challenging and satisfying game-play with multiple paths for players to complete.
Using photogrammetry technology, Witchfire immerses the player in a grim fantasy world as players take up forbidden powerful spells to fight against witches. Take up the role as an immortal witch hunter called prayers and under the Vatican’s call, hunt down the infamous witch of the Black Sea and destroy anything that stands in the way of turning the tide of the war.
