Last month, a report suggested that Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was delayed to 2023. This was brought up due to comments made by WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar who listed several titles that are a big focus for the company in 2022. Suicide Squad was not among that group which led to the speculation. No official comment has been made concerning the report until now. Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill announced on Twitter that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has officially been delayed to 2023.
Hill wrote “We’ve made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to Spring 2023. I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can. I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience.”
