Studio Reset Announces The Eventide, the Studio’s First IP

Studio Reset is one of the most recent additions to the gaming industry, and with their recent debut as a company, they’ve announced their very first game that’s in development. The Eventide is the very first game that Studio Reset has in its roster, though the team that makes up the company certainly isn’t fresh to the industry. Studio Reset’s numbers include practiced developers that previously worked for studios like BioWare, who worked on big-name titles such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

While The Eventide‘s announcement trailer doesn’t give anything more than a first look at the game, a description of the game on Gematsu provides quite a bit of information for any curious gamers. The Eventide is a single-player adventure game with a focus on detective work and unraveling mysteries, with a large supernatural element coming into play throughout the story. Players will seemingly be able to play as three separate agents (with others being hinted at), who have their own skill sets that allows them to acquire information and discover clues in their own way. Between tapping into the supernatural and plain-old detective work, players will likely have access to a number of ways to solve each case.

As of now, no release date has been confirmed for The Eventide‘s release, but Gematsu’s page shows that it will be exclusively on PC as of now, likely through Steam. Regardless, any gamers that are looking for a game that involves mystery and deduction should certainly keep an eye on The Eventide. While this is the first game from a relatively new studio, Studio Reset has some veterans of the industry within their ranks. Even from what little is known about this game, The Eventide has the right pieces to kick off Studio Reset’s career with a bang. And, if things go well, it could very much put the studio on the map for both gamers and other members of the industry.
