‘Strange Brigade’ Post-Launch Content and Season Pass Have Been Announced

The release date for developer Rebellion’s co-op shooter Strange Brigade is rapidly approaching, and Rebellion recently revealed what will be coming to the game after launch. The game, set in Egypt in the 1930s, promises to let players “explore remarkable ruins, solve perilous puzzles and uncover tantalising treasure while blasting your way through an array of undead enemies.” In a new “Post-Launch Panache” trailer, we get a look at the Season Pass for Strange Brigade, and the add-on content that has been planned so far for the titular shooter.

First off, and most importantly, there will be ongoing support for the game after its launch and will be present well after its release. Rebellion’s press release confirmed that “escapades will escalate with the introduction of free monthly content.” For those who choose to go down the paid DLC route, they will also get to see some exciting, exclusive action because it seems Rebellion has plans to keep the game fresh on all fronts. The details of Strange Brigade‘s free monthly content will be revealed later down the road, but the contents of its Season Pass has already been disclosed.

With the Season Pass comes a new three-part “mini-campaign,” with “amazing spectacles and incredible feats.” Also included are “brave new heroes from across the globe,” who each come with their own unique abilities. New weapons, “outrageous” outfits, and new amulet powers will also be available to those with a Season Pass. And, of course, all future Strange Brigade content comes automatically with the pass.

In addition, pre-ordering the game will get players the Secret Service Weapons Pack. This includes a Stoudenmire 960 submachine gun, a Wilkers & White P19 pistol, and the Gehrig-Delgane S1 rifle. Check out the full post-launch trailer below:

Strange Brigade will release on August 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.
