Draw Distance is a Polish indie game studio (formerly known as iFun4All). The studio released its first Serial Cleaner game in 2017 and has become a staple in the indie game scene for its iconic retro-style graphics, stealth-based gameplay, and dark humor. Players take on the role of a “cleaner” who helps the mob by cleaning up crime scenes, disposing of evidence, and avoiding detection by law enforcement. The game gained popularity and earned a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 87% of over 1,100 user reviews expressing approval.
Serial Cleaner brings players to the 1950s, where they follow a team of four crime scene cleaners working for the mob. Each character has a unique background and motivation, which are revealed throughout the game’s sprawling narrative in the form of flashbacks. These characters include Bob C. Leaner, the veteran cleaner, Erin Reed, a tech-savvy graffiti artist, Latiya, a streetwise hustler, and Vip3r, a hacker. Serial Cleaner tasks players with clearing crime scenes by removing bodies, cleaning blood, and disposing of evidence, all while avoiding detection by law enforcement. This sequel also incorporates new elements into the franchise, such as its open-ended levels, dynamic audio design, and nonlinear storytelling.
Draw Distance recently announced that Serial Cleaner will be launching on mobile app stores on February 11th. This mobile port of the game will be similar to the original game with some added polish. Footage of the game on iOS and Android showcases 13 minutes of the game unique abstract art style and stealth gameplay. This is great news for any mobile gamer with a passion for plot and puzzles.
Serial Cleaners will be available for $4.99 on both iOS and Android devices when it launches on February 11, 2025, although this date may be subject to change.
