And one game that is honestly a pleasant surprise is Maneater 2, a sequel to Maneater, the game that allows you to be a shark and terrorize both land and sea. And this time the game is being developed by both Tripwire Interactive and Demiurge Studios in a team-up to create, in their own words, “the Next Evolution of the Critically Acclaimed Open-water Action-RPG Starring a Shark.” The game is set to release in 2027 and will be available for PlayStation, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Maneater 2 is a sequel to the 2020 game Maneater, where you played as a shark and wreaked havoc on both land and sea, and now it’s back better than ever. This time, players will be brought to the depths of Neptune’s Kingdom, a five-star luxury theme park and resort where the splendor and opulence of the Roman Empire live on.
