Japanese game developer and publisher Square Enix announced earlier today that a Kingdom Hearts: Union X (Cross) community event will be taking place on April 15 in California. This is a first for the company, to have a fan event for the mobile RPG within the United States. The event will take place at the House of Blues Anaheim.
Those who are planning on attending the event will be able to take part in many activities and try new experiences that are coming to the game and that will “celebrate the world of Kingdom Hearts Union X.” An added treat for the attendees will be that Kingdom Hearts Director Tetsuya Nomura, along with Kingdom Hearts Union X Producer Hironori Okayama and several other development team members, will also be present at the event to provide some of their insights on the game. Tickets for this event will officially go on sale starting January 30.
Each ticket will cost $20.00 plus applicable service fees. There is a limited number of tickets available, so those who plan on attending the event should likely act fast if they want to secure their spot. The last big reveal of news for the mobile game came last March and brought about its rebranding from Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X to Union X, along with the addition of multiplayer, new medals, and a big twist in the already convoluted story arc that the Kingdom Hearts series is famous for. It isn’t currently known what news might come out of this fan event, but it is speculated that something big might be planned for the day.
