In head-to-head online voting through IGN’s Versus feature, Sony’s recently-announced Playstation 4 console trounced Microsoft’s own recently-announced next-gen console, the Xbox One across all the voting categories.
Given that likely nobody voting has had any direct first-hand experience of either console, the voting is much more reflective of pre-existing brand loyalty amongst IGN’s audience and the subsequent interpretation of the announced and described features of both consoles. In any case, keep an eye out for the “IGN People’s Choice” badge appearing on Sony’s stuff.
