But in developing news today, The Last of Us Part 2 is set to be released in June of this Summer but unfortunately, the game has now suffered from a leak that can potentially ruin fans’ experience once the game is set to come out.

For a disclaimer, this article will not take any part in spoiling The Last of Us Part 2 out of respect for the Sony and Naughty Dog who that have worked very hard on the game and also out of respect for the fans who have been waiting for this moment for a while now. Over the weekend some leaked footage and potentially huge spoilers of the game were leaked. One of the first leaks was a YouTube video that showed major plot points of the game, the original uploader of the video channel was immediately taken down. Unfortunately, it was already downloaded by other accounts. Which it was then posted on a Reddit page but that page has been reportedly taken down as well. Some news outlets are reporting that an ex Naughty Dog employee leaked the footage of the game and numerous spoilers of the plot as well. Naughty Dog has not responded to the allegation.

The reason being for The Last of Us Part 2 being delayed was the cause of what is going on in today’s environment with the coronavirus. With the COVID-19 being the cause of many gaming events like E3, BlizzCon, and other gaming events being either postponed or canceled causing fans’ favorite games being pushed back as well. It’s clear that a lot of fans are very eager to see The Last of Us Part 2 to come out and they will be able to within the coming months.
