When it comes to horror games, there are two types: you have your single-player ones, where they build atmosphere and tension over time and have you brave the horrors hidden in the darkness all by yourself with only your wits and tools that you find on your journey. Then there is your co-op horror game, where instead of braving the darkness alone, you do it with friends or strangers. And in Snow Job, you do just that. Snow Job is a 4-player co-op horror game that has you hunting artifacts in a frozen anomalous zone full of hidden dangers. As of now, there is no official release date for the game; only that it is coming soon and will be released on PC via Steam.
Snow Job is a 4-player co-op horror game similar in nature to Lethal Company, where you and four others brave unknown lands in search of items to sell and make money. But in Snow Job, you traverse a frozen anomalous zone where you can interact with the snow around you and shape it to your liking. The snow is fully physical, so you can dig, pack it into a wall, or bury yourself; it’s what protects you from the storms at night. The main object of the game is to dig around in the snow and find artifacts that you have to unfreeze and sell to make money to meet your quota. The game’s cycle runs from sunset to dawn, and as days pass, the quota becomes harder to meet. That’s when the night comes into play; as the caves become warmer for exploration, they also become darker and far more dangerous. Creatures of the night will come out and try to kill you, adding to the danger. Alongside that, if you miss your quota or extraction, your expedition ends, and so do you.
Snow Job looks to be a very interesting game, with a fully physical, interactive environment; it will make for fun moments with buddies, as you can mess with each other and even build snowmen. The monsters in the game look interesting too, and it will be interesting to see how active they become and how dangerous the night cycle will be. Either way, Snow Job is a 4-player co-op horror game, so it’s perfect to play with buddies. If you’re interested, there isn’t a current release date, but it looks to be coming soon. Snow Job will be released on PC via Steam, so look out for this frozen horror experience.
