Capcom’s Street Fighter V may have a foothold on the fighting game world right now, but SNK Playmore’s upcoming King of Fighters XIV has also been making the rounds in the SNK game community as of late. SNKP announced at a closed press conference at Taipei Game Show yesterday that King of Fighters veterans Benimaru, K’, and Robert Garcia will be joining XIV’s projected roster of 50 fan favorites.

Taipei Game Show opens to the public tomorrow, January 28th. KoF fans can expect to hear more about the latest installment in SNK’s classic fighting game series via the convention’s official Twitch.tv stream, which will feature a King of Fighters XIV block on the 29th.
Though an official release date has not yet been given, King of Fighters XIV is expected to launch for the PlayStation 4 sometime in 2016.
