Publisher 505 Games and the developers at Rebellion have released a new gameplay trailer earlier this week for their upcoming game in the shooter series, Sniper Elite 3, which will be coming to PC in June 27. Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3 version of the game will be coming out on July 1st in America. Pre-order your copy of the game in order to also get the Hunt the Grey Wolf DLC, plus also receive a Gamestop Exclusive when you pre-order, which will give you a camouflage stealth weapons pack.
Sniper Elite 3 takes place back in 1942 in the exotic but deadly terrain of Africa, it is currently World War II and Germany’s Afrika Korps has been given plans for a special weaponry called “wunderwaffle” that can change the War in their favor. You play as American OSS agent Karl Fairburne where you are sent behind Nazi lines, in order aide and provide your shooter skills to Aide helping you Allies who are battling Germany’s Tiger tanks across the Western Desert.
In the trailer, you can just shoot your enemies you need to observe your environment and mission, plan your shot or sneak attack, execute the target, and adapt to the environment in order to escape enemies vision. Take cover when you get soldier’s attention, watch where they are and prepare to move accordingly, whether it be to take your enemies one by one or set a trap for them in order to drop an explosive to end them.
The trailer highlights the features of shooting someone from a distance, where you can experience x-ray vision, whether it be shooting an enemy or even a vehicle. There are sniper perches or vantage points that allow you to get the advantage over patrols and overwatch guards. Also the enemy AI you face against will be clever and more realistic.
