Shade of the Marionette: The Story of Piyorita is a story-driven 3D action RPG developed by Kiwi Walks and draws on their previous title, WitchSpring. This time around, the game sees you play as a doll named Piyorita who’s quiet, taciturn, and calm by nature. She was born a blank doll, devoid of both emotion and memory. Piyorita is awakened in a room by a familiar voice that tasks her with taking up a weapon and absorbing the food prepared for her. Though she is incomplete, the voice urges her to absorb other dolls’ life force to become a masterpiece. The room you awaken in is called the White Nest Room, your main hub where you can combine weapons, traps, and spells to prepare for the next battle. You can also change her costume or manage captured bosses. The game will see you take on bosses that are also dolls, which you can capture, command, and upgrade. You will also obtain new spells and weapons by finding materials and using them to craft said tools. The game is fast-paced and sword-driven in combat, with other weapons you can use.
