At the ARC World Tour Finals, Arc System Works announced that DNF Duel’s Season Pass for the game is set to release in Summer 2023. In addition, the Dungeon & Fighter favorite Spectre has been announced as the first character coming to the game.
The Season Pass brings in a range of downloadable content for DNF Duel. In addition to Spectre joining the roster, a new Awakening system with magical Clear and Gold Cubes that power Awakening effects to enhance skills, and a new battle system. Spectre is a character with high-level mobility and can attack with an onslaught of quick strikes using signature swords Obsidian and White Fang. Season Pass content will be released throughout 2023 and will bring in more playable characters and another new battle stage. A new character will be released later this year in the Fall. A new character and new stage will be released in the Winter; and two more characters are set to be released in 2024.
DNF Duel released back in 2022 to wide acclaim for the reimagining of the blockbuster Dungeon&Fighter IP’s iconic classes into a 2.5D fighter with unique combat mechanics and strategic fighting. The game features uniquely designed characters and multiple stories from
the world of Dungeon&Fighter, as well as a deeply immersive fighting experience and intuitive command system that allows beginners access to all the fun and action of Dungeon&Fighter. There are 17 playable characters including Spectre, Berserker,
Crusader, Dragon Knight, Enchantress, Ghostblade, Grappler, Inquisitor, Kunoichi, Launcher, Swift Master, Troubleshooter, Vanguard, and more – each with unique skills and personality.
DNF Duel is currently available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game will become available for Nintendo Switch next month on April 20, 2023.
