SandBloom Studios Prepare To Launch EMMA: Lost In Memories Later This Month

SandBloom Studios, a small indie team near Barcelona, recently announced the official release date for their platformer project, EMMA: Lost in Memories. Their upcoming puzzle-adventure is a 2D hand-drawn, poetic reflection on memory loss. The game will launch for PC and mobile devices later this month.

The game tells the story of a young girl named Emma, who ventures far from home following a mysterious owl. But she soon finds herself lost in a strange world which proves to be more dangerous than she initially believed. Players will be tasked with guiding Emma through a series of platform puzzles. The rules are simple: if you touch it, it begins to disappear. Emma will continually run at a fixed speed, but she does have some special abilities. She can jump higher (double jump), dash, and climb. It will be up to the players to survey the environment and react accordingly. Carefully time Emma’s jumps so that she continues on the pathway ahead. Can you help her find the way home?

The game will feature two modes, Main Story and Memory Chest. After completing levels in the Main Story, players can later revisit those same levels in the Memory Chest.

If you have not already, you can view the game’s official trailer below.

EMMA: Lost in Memories will be playable for PC and mobile (iOS and Android) players. According to the recent Twitter post, the game is expected to launch this month, on August 16th. The game can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and the Steam Store. Wishlist this title to be notified when the game becomes available.

For more information, you can visit the EMMA: Lost in Memories official website, or look up the title’s page on the Steam Store. Earlier this year, the team also released demo for Sold O2ut, a “cooperative-centric “beat’em up narrative” project. Stay up to date on the project’s development, news, and updates, which can be found by visiting the studio’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages. I love storytelling more than any subject, and would probably watch, read, or play anything given to me just to know how it ends.
