The Front is an upcoming survivor open world crafting first person shooter game. It is being developed by Samar Studio. A trailer has been released revealing this game that is currently in development.
The world of The Front takes people to a post-apocalyptic world where the main goal is to survive. It is filled with hostile enemies which include, zombie-like creatures and other humans who have gone rogue. Since a tyrannical group seized control of the world, everyone is being monitored. Survival will be a challenge since it is not only mutants that are the enemies, but challenging an opposing faction of power will keep players on edge. The game will have a day and night system and will have a variety of landscapes to play in, ranging from cities to forests and sea. All these terrains will be important for resources.
The main objective of this game is to survive by any means necessary. In this open-world game, building a base is key since it allows for defenses. There will be options to craft structures and mobile platforms. There will be waves of attack from enemies. Having a base will give a preemptive attack adventure against large number of enemies letting players take advantage of high-powered weapons.
The weapons in this game are craftable. Players will need formulas to be able to make the necessary equipment they need. There will be waves of attack from enemies. Weapons aren’t the only things in the formulas. There will be tactical gear and even anti-craft weapons. This will be necessary when dealing with opposing human factions who despite not being mutants still want to take down survivors. And there are over 400 formulas available for crafting.
Players have the option to play this game solo however there is online co-op available and surviving is a lot easier when you have a group of friends coming together to collect resources and help in combat. With groups, it will be easier to explore in a defensive manner.
