Saints Row Parent Company Collaborating with Summer Game Fest

Koch Media knows something we don’t know and we’re eager to find out. The owner of beloved franchises such as Saints Row, Dead Island, Metro, and Time Splitters will be hosting their first-ever digital showcase in collaboration with Summer Game Fest. The event will take place on June 11, 2021, at 12 p.m. pacific time. Even though gamers are being kept in the dark as to what’s being publicized, Koch Media has teased that there will be more than a dozen gaming announcements made throughout the Livestream event.

As the event gets closer, there has been growing speculation on what will be announced. It seems every game-lover is hoping to see Koch Media release Saints Row 5 as it has been six years since the release of Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. In late 2019, fans learned that the development for Saints Row 5 was in the works, but plans for its release date have yet to be announced. Because of the delay in the launch of the game, gamers have begun to theorize that the virtual event might lead to the unveiling of the game.

With Koch Media being the company behind so many gaming franchises, anything is possible.

Rumors floating around the internet have also stated that Dead Island 2 could be another game amidst the announcements on June 11. The developers have consistently stated that the game is still in production, giving fans hope that a second reboot could be launching soon. We also know that a new Metro game is in the works as well as a new TimeSplitters project.

THQ Nordic, owner of Koch Media said in a press release, that the company planned to release two AAA games before the end of 2021.

As many of the rumors are pure speculation, we’re just going to have to wait and see what gets announced. What we do know for sure is that Koch Media has some big plans for the digital event and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that these esteemed titles will make an appearance.
