SacriFire Official Trailer, Game Launching 2026

Back in June 2021, during the PC Gaming Show, a 90s-inspired RPG by a small Polish team that had released the successful Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs was shown off. The game quickly gained popularity, but little was known about when it would launch, as a Kickstarter campaign was launched alongside the game to fund it. But now, about 5 years later, we finally get the first official trailer for the RPG SacriFire. No official release date has been confirmed, only that it will be released in 2026. And you can wishlist the game now on Steam and GOG.
SacriFire is a 90s-inspired RPG by the Polish indie team Pixelated Milk, who released the successful RPG Regalia: Of Men and MonarchsNow they’re back with a whole new title, and it looks great, with an art style that blends pixel art with 3D graphics, combining retro-style visuals with innovative, wizardly digital effects. The game also has dynamic battles that merge real-time combat with turn-based elements for a fluid, challenging, and satisfying experience. The game has an all-new soundtrack composed by G4F and Motoi Sakuraba. With casting from Sound Cadence Studios, bringing the game’s cast to life. The story of the game aims to subvert standard RPG tropes while also respecting them.

With no official release date for SacriFire, many are left waiting in anticipation for this new game, as it looks to be a big hit in the indie scene and is building itself out as a standout in the realm of JRPGs. In recent years, JRPGs have experienced a resurgence in popularity, with major titles such as Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and the Persona franchise. It’s nice to see more titles joining the space, though the biggest problem with most JRPGs is that players fail to finish them due to how much time you have to sink into them, but 9 times out of 10, it’s worth it, as they are journeys that change how you perceive life and games; it’s a beautiful thing. SacriFire is currently available to be wishlisted on Steam and GOG, so if you’re interested in the title, that’s where you can find it.

Jorge Peredo: Growing up, I've always been fascinated by storytelling, whether through reading, watching, or playing video games. Having been exposed to storytelling for so long, I have been influenced, and through that influence, I seek to write and create my own stories that others can enjoy and that I can be proud of.
