Rube Goldberg Machine Created In Halo 5… To Turn on a TV

Yes, sometimes in order to turn on a TV in Halo, you must spend countless hours creating a Rube Goldberg Machine in order to get the job done properly. Well one gamer took to Forge and hand crafted a pretty amazing piece of machinery in Halo 5.

The video of the masterpiece was first released on Youtube by Unsorted Gaming with a very simple description, “I`ve created a machine that will turn on the television for me”. The description also mentioned the fact that while massive and pretty damn cool, the TV doesn’t always turn on with the first go. But not to fret, there’s a reset button so you can just try again and make sure that TV gets turned on. Take a look at the video below and see the sheer scale of the Machine and just how intricate the design of it is.

As you can see in the video, the Rube Goldberg Machine utilized red solo cups as well as a series of tubes, dominoes and at one point a catapult. What was pretty cool was the fact that near the end of the video, they used Covenant lifts to propel the giant golf ball through the air until it ended up finally resting on the button and activating the generator.

Its just good to know that there are still some people out there who don’t resort to using a remote to turn on the TV. Some Spartans still choose to do thing the old fashioned way, getting up and pressing the button with a giant golf ball.

In other Halo news, it would seem as though Halo Wars 2’s next DLC is being delayed due to a “game breaking bug”. Click here if you want to read more about the issue.
