Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is set in the same world as the previous Lost in Random, A dark fantasy realm known as Random where the fate of its inhabitants is decided by a magical die when they come of age. You will assume the role of Queen Aleksandra, who by the power of the Black Die has been transformed into a child and is accompanied by a companion named Fortune. Your goal is to seek vengeance against who imprisoned you and escape your the realm.
Thunderful games shared some developer commentary from Director Martin Storm and he had this to say about the new elements “…The Roguelite idea for Lost in Random: The Eternal Die really fits within the world of Lost in Random with the kind of board game thematic of the world and having a die. The best part of development was making a different game while keeping the essence of Lost in Random.”
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die features real-time action combat and you can wield four unique weapons, throw your die companion, combine 100 relics with card-based abilities and synergies. Lost in Random: The Eternal Die also features four randomly generated worlds with 30 different enemy types.
Stormteller Games aims to offer something fresh, with new Roguelite elements in the Tim-Burton inspired world of Random. Stormteller’s Martin Storm has emphasized that this title will stand on its own as a narrative. We’ll see how fans and newcomers receive it next month.
