Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate Will Never Update Again After October 2024

Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate was first released in 2021. “Dead Estate is a fast-paced, challenging shooter with a lot of cartoonish personality and lots of dodging about while unloading your souped-up shotgun or the like.” Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate can be purchased on Steam for $15 and there is a demo so players can get an idea of the game before buying it.

PC Gamer and developer Mikbar Lads, in a stem post, has officially announced that the Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate will receive its final update on October 28th, 2024. The update will be called Goodnight, and since it’s a Halloween update, it will focus a lot on horror.

Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate final update will consist of four new full-size levels. Three of these ending will take each player down different directions. Depending on the route taken, the player can receive new character costumes, items, and weapons. There are a total of 70 new items, 31 new weapons, a new set of costumes, and 10 new challenges. There are two special modes called “hard mode run” and “looped,” which will allow those players to see mutations for Chunks. There are other in-game additions but there isn’t a ton of information about this as of right now because the developer wants to keep as much information hidden as possible for a surprise.

Roguelike Horror Shooter Dead Estate has had continuous development over the past four years. At this point, there has not been an official reason why the game will never receive anymore updates but as we move closer to the game update, more information will be shared.
