ROCCAT To Preview New Products At Gamescom

ROCCAT, manufacturer of gaming peripherals for PC, will be presenting two new products at Gamescom this August.

At this year’s Gamescom in Germany, peripheral manufacturer ROCCAT is hoping to wow audiences with the public premier of their latest gaming mouse and keyboard models, both of which the company hopes will make waves in the industry and spur on a new era in peripheral technology.

ROCCAT is known for their high-concept, professional-grade gaming peripherals, and has already been catching media interest with early images of their prototype lapboard, named Sova and featured in the pic above. In addition to providing con-goers with more information on the Sova prototype, ROCCAT is also going to be presenting their Tyon mouse and Ryos keyboard for examination.

The Tyon is ROCCAT’s next generation gaming mouse, and features a broad selection of control options for players to delve into. More than just your standard button selection is available here: with analog-style switches, macro buttons, adjustable DPI and a host of other features, it’s definitely a mouse worth considering if your regular old 2-button unit just isn’t cutting it any more.

Likewise, the company is also presenting their Ryos TKL keyboard, a gaming keyboard with a number of smartphone integration features. This new keyboard hopes to free up gamers’ hands from outside tasks, allowing them to make and receive calls, texts, and other phone features using the keyboard itself, as well as utilizing the phone as a peripheral for the keyboard.

ROCCAT’s Gamescom presentation will be August 13-17, with multiple events scheduled over several days as the company not only premiers their products but hosts a number of other events for gamers and industry professionals alike:

ROCCAT hopes that, even in such a competitive market, their new Tyon and Ryos designs will help them to stand out.
