We weren’t sure what to expect when Respawn finally showed us Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order back at E3 2019. What we got was a nice blend of platforming and some lightsaber action, mixed with some mechanical aspects from the Souls series. Well it looks like we’re in for more reveals as the company has announced that on September 26, this Thursday, they will unveil a brand new trailer for the title.
In addition to the new trailer, the company has also stated that they will present new Star Wars related products as part of a larger event, Triple Force Friday. Despite the confusing name, the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order reveal is indeed set for Thursday. On top of that, the voice actor of main protagonist Cal Kestis, Cameron Monoghan, will be attending the event when the trailer is shown off.
There isn’t a whole lot of time left before the game releases, so it’s more than likely that we son’t see anything new in terms of game mechanics. If anything, we’re probably in store for some elaboration on the overall story, as the company has emphasized this will be a single player experience first and foremost. We also got little more insight when the developers stated back in July that the gameplay is reminiscent of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which is an exciting prospect since that game was well received.
As we stated earlier, the trailer and new products will be presented on September 26, Thursday at 11:00 am PST/2:00 pm EST. It will be streamed live through the their official Youtube, Twitch, and Mixer channels. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches on November 15 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
