Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy Gifts New Story Trailer

Remothered: Red Nun‘s Legacy will be coming to fans, later on this year. The previously announced game will be on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2, Epic Games Store and Gog.com, via its announcement trailer.

The Game will be focusing on Susan, a mother trying to find her daughter. The announcement expands on this by asking players “what are we willing to do to save our children.” To get a peak at what the game might look like, some “gameplay footage”  can be found in the later half of Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy announcement trailer.

To continue building on the game’s storyline, earlier this morning, Stormind Games, the developers of Remothered, released the Story Trailer for Red Nun’s Legacy on Remothered’s Official Youtube Channel. It starts with the celebration of presumably Agatha, Susan’s daughters’ birthday, a movie player plays male and female voices singing the happy birthday song and Susan asks Agatha to make a wish. This is juxtaposed by the display of dead bodies hung on a tree as an announcer states “Previously reported missing […] have been found.” Then a pair of legs get slowly dragged under a blanket. “STORMIND GAMES” appears as the announcer continues “Still no sign of little Agatha Trovato.”

A man and a woman appear in a car as the man states “We’ve suffered enough.” “It’s been a year.” The woman, Susan, responds “14 months.” “It’s been 14 months, and the police haven’t done anything.”” As a huge dilapidated villa fills the trailer. Susan explores “Villa Ashmann,” seeing lots of paintings of a family, men and women all bearing the Ashmann name.

A normal hallway turns to the left and showcases an eerie moth-filled and dirt-filled hallway instead of the well decorated chamber before. Susan opens worn curtains and gasps at what she sees. She covers her mouth with her hands then the trailer shows a body swinging from the roof, with four different white colored bodies draped in red and blood stains on them in different eerie positions. On the walls are different pictures of people’s legs presumably while sleeping.

“Agatha is not the only one who can still be saved” plays as an older woman gives Susan a gun. Susan looks into a swinging wooden boxpiece, that’s laid next to candles, and Latin voices start speaking, she holds it as the voices grow stronger. The trailer turns black then Agatha’s mum looks out at an outline of a creature tugging on something. She opens the door and one lady wearing a red cap holds something up. One of the statue creatures writhes alive in a bathtub, and the other creatures in the hallway start moving around coming to life as well, then the lady with the red cap turns around holding a bloody dead lamb.  It goes dark again and the picture of Gloria Ashmann fills the screen as the trailer ends.

Remothered: Dead Nun’s Legacy Story Trailer leaves a lot of interesting tidbits into the story of Agatha and Susan and the game in the future. With so many interesting aspects in the story trailer, and with the trailer hinting that Agatha may be still alive, the story leaves much up in the air, and fans will have to follow Remothered: Dead Nun’s Legacy’s socials to gain more information before the game’s release.
