Remnant 2 has received an official release date during today’s Summer Game Fest. Gunfire Games’ original Remnant: From the Ashes which released in 2019, will see the sequel launch only a month away on July 25th.
Remnant 2 will give players familiar combat to the original entry, a third person shooter with an emphasis on survival. Various weapon types and deep character customization to ensure further survivability in the world of Remnant 2. There’ll also be weapon and gear specific loot optimized for different locations. Each new run will be entirely different than the last with procedurally generated levels, offering high replayability.
One of the core highlights of Remnant 2 will be its co-op functionalities, and while players can still go solo, teaming up with other survivors will make enemies, and boss fights easier to overcome.
Remnant 2 will launch July 25th, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders begin today, June 8th with three editions:
