Remedy Entertainment Developing Single Player For Crossfire 2

According to Remedy Entertainment they will be developing the single player mode for the worlds most played shooter Crossfire. This is the same game studio that developed story driven games such as Quantum Break and Alan Wake. Remedy is working on the comprehensive story mode for the upcoming Crossfire 2, publisher Smilegate Entertainment released at the ChinaJoy convention.

Smilegate favorably partnered with Remedy to co-develop Crossfire 2 as to showcase a unique style of story telling as well as immersive gameplay that forces the player to care for the main characters just as much as the core gameplay elements.

Remedy has seen much success in the world of single player campaigns. Games such as Alan Wake and Quantum Break have been well received and a joy to play. They both offer immersive game styles as well as unique moments that only Remedy could bring.

If you look at Twitter, Remedy said:

We are creating the storymode with a lot of freedom. Expect a great story and memorable characters in an military FPS from us.

The worlds most played shooter, Crossfire was first available in 2007. Since that time, the PC game has become the most played online first-person shooters in the world by the numbers. According to developer Smilegate, the original game has a huge player base at more than 500 million players in a multitude of areas around the world. On top of that the game reportedly made 1 Billion dollars in 2014.
