In Land Of Nowhere, the world is completely flooded. Life as it once was no longer exists, and there is one singular structure above water level. Mysteriously, this tower begins to send out signals one day, enticing survivors to follow it. This becon of hope can be the only chance of survival.
However, there is more to it than simply showing up and entering. What was meant to be a haven has its own challenges to survive within it.
Inside the tower there are humanoid creatures that are made of concrete, the only way to get past them is to destroy them. Every move you make must be well thought out, as each creature you destroy means the others will learn and change their behavior’s accordingly to your strategies. Being prepared is a must here, the concrete bodies can add up quickly within the confines of the corridors, and within the blink of an eye you can be overrun.
You will be on your own in the tower, with the freedom to explore where your heart desires, no hand-holding throughout gameplay. It is up to you to find your own way to the person sending out the signals that brought you here.
Although it is already dim, when the lights go completely out, something begins to move in the darkness. Something that hunts down those who found their way inside the tower; it’s dangerous and unkillable, awakened by the absence of light. The only way to combat it is by searching for fuses and replacing them in the electrical room to get the power back on in the building.
Keeping the lights on is only part of the challenge, every section of the tower has a puzzle linked to the residents within. “Its final outcome will affect the ending of your game, but it will never interrupt or block your progression.”
In the tower, you can only rely on yourself.
Land Of Nowhere is set to release soon on Steam.
