Reddit User Beat Newest Destiny Raid Boss by Himself

In a strange series of events, Reddit user ScaRdrow has beaten the newest Destiny raid boss by himself. With only skill and his 399 Sunsinger Warlock, he was able to take down one of the hardest bosses to be introduced to Destiny. You may be skeptical about this but he was gracious enough to include the gameplay of his accomplishment.

Like other Destiny Raids, there is a certain amount of time given for players to accomplish what needs to be done in order to take down the boss. Most groups of players attempting this Raid will struggle for some time before being able to complete it, in most cases just barely.

What makes this seem impossible is the fact that a big part of completing this raid is getting what needs to be done in a very limited time. At one point players must kill certain enemies with a special cannon obtained by killing a captain. If a player picks up a cannon then they will not be able to pick up a bomb for 30 seconds and bombs only stick around for a limited amount of time.

To get around the time delay ScaRdow used his resurrection ability after killing himself by jumping off a ledge to get rid of the timer. After resurrecting, he would rush to get the bombs and begin to throw them at Aksis, then pick up the cannons back up and empty all three of them on him.

To get the full rundown of his setup and strategy feel free to head over and read his in depth description on Reddit.

In other news, Destiny will be seeing its yearly Festival of the Lost Halloween event which starts tomorrow, October 25th.
