Publisher Raw Fury and Developer RED SOUL GAMES have announced that their horror title Post Trauma will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 31. Gematsu reports that a February 2025 Edition demo is available as a part of Steams Next Fest.
The setting of Post Trauma is a distorted reality of recognizable environments like abandoned hospitals and train stations known as The Gloom. You will assume the role of Roman, a middle-aged train conductor set to understand the world he is trapped within and find an escape.
Gamereactor Interviewed Red Soul Games Director Roberto Serra and he had this to say about the game’s supernatural setting “Yeah, of course, we are not super subtle about this, Post Trauma. The character had a trauma to be in this place, he wakes up on a metro station, and he’s like, where am I? How do I live? Normal reaction of a person, and that’s it.” He wakes in a different place, and he has to find a way home. On the way there, he will meet other people there that are trapped in this place, which is a real place. It’s not like you get to the end of the game and, oh, it was a dream. No, no, no, it’s a real place.”
Post Trauma pays homage to classic horror titles with it’s fixed camera angles, while remaining modern and adding optional tank controls. You will spend time solving puzzles, solving riddles and exploring The Gloom.
Post trauma draws inspiration from well known horror titles like Silent Hill series and the classic Resident Evil titles. With the strides made in horror game development it will be interesting to see how developer RED SOUL GAMES will innovate on the tried and true formula. Well find in just little over s month.
