Red Dead Redemption Joins GTA+ Library Of Games

Those with an active GTA+ membership can now get Red Dead Redemption for free as part of their subscription as the game and the DLC Undead Nightmare have been added to the Games included with GTA+ library. GTA+ members with an active membership can now play the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

For those who don’t know, GTA+ is a new membership program created two years ago exclusively for GTA Online. It provides members easy access to valuable benefits for both new and long-standing players including a variety of persistent benefits. New benefits become available each month. GTA+ members also get access to download and play a rotating assortment of classic Rockstar Games titles for as long as they’re included in GTA+

So far, the games included with GTA+ library include Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, and the newly added Red Dead Redemption.

Red Dead Redemption tells the story of former outlaw John Marston as he journeys across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico to track down the last remaining members of the notorious Van der Linde Gang in a bid to save his family. Undead Nightmare reimagines the world of Red Dead Redemption as Marston fights to survive a relentless zombie horde and searches for a cure in a spooky, supernatural twist on the Western genre.

Red Dead Redemption was released to modern platforms last year with PS4 and Nintendo Switch port which did not go well with the fans. On Xbox Series X|S, the original Xbox 360 version has been upgraded via the power of the Xbox Series X|S hardware to output to 4K. The game eventually received 60 fps update on PS5 that would allow the game to run at 60 fps on PS5.
