As it always happens, Rainbow Six Siege has delivered two new Operators to spice things up on the battleground. Goyo will be using his ability to start some fires that will slow down incoming attackers and Amaru will be zipping up to high ground through windows and hatches surprising unsuspecting foes. A new overhaul to the map Kanal has also been implemented along with a few changes to current operators. The newest additions and changes are sure to freshen things up again for the popular FPS shooter still going strong after 3 years.
Goyo is a defender who utilizes three deployable shields that are modified with an explosive canister on the backside. With the new changes to the deployable shields now being implemented, Goyo is great for sticking his explosive shields right in doorways making attackers think before vaulting right over them. One shot to the explosive canister will cause it to explode killing anyone near while also leaving a blaze that will keep anyone out of the vicinity for a short time.
Amaru is the new attacker who utilizes her grappling hook to vault up to high ground quickly gaining access to top floors more efficiently. She can also grapple right through windows from the outside in an instant as well as hatches from underneath unsuspecting defenders. When done right, Amaru will be a ruthless rusher who can maneuver into positions much more quickly to strike.
The newest update has also done a complete revamp to the map Kanal. Some of the map can be recognized, but overall the layout is much different getting rid of many spawn killing areas and making more access points to certain areas opening-up more opportunities for both attackers and defenders. Minor buffs have also been implemented to Wardens movement during his ability activation as well as an increase to DMR rifles making them a more likely pick now.
Rainbow Six Siege continues to keep fans guessing on what to expect next on its growing roster. With the addition to Amaru and Goyo both attackers and defender will have to stay on their toes until they adjust accordingly to the tactics they add to their team. Operation Ember Rise is available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
