Indie publisher tinyBuild, known for hits such as Hello Neighbor, Speedrunners, and Graveyard Keeper, held their annual tinyBuild Connect presentation today. The keynote featured plethora of new game announcements, demo releases, and new trailers. Here’s a full recap of all the announcements from the show, along with links to the trailers and games that were featured:
SAND – Gameplay Reveal Trailer
Kicking off the show, the first official gameplay for SAND was shown. The game is a wild PvPvE FPS that appears to be a cross between Sea of Thieves, Mad Max, and Howl’s Moving Castle. SAND is being developed by TowerHaus and the beta for the game launches this summer. You can sign up for the SAND beta on Steam here.
Drill Core – Announcement Trailer
The first new game announcement of the show was Drill Core, a 2D team-management game in which you lead a business of interplanetary corporate miners. The game humorously blends retro-futuristic imagery with strategic gameplay, and you can sign up to playtest the game on Steam here.
Level Zero: Extraction – ‘Transmission’ Teaser Trailer
Upcoming multiplayer horror game Level Zero: Extraction showed off a new gameplay tailer, which also provided some more details about what to expect from the sci-fi shooter. TinyBuild describes the game as “a multiplayer extraction horror with high-stakes asymmetric PvPvPve and immersive FPS combat”. Players will be able to play as human expeditioners in solo or co-op, or as an alien monster hunting everybody else. No release date has been announced yet, but the game can be wishlisted on Steam here
VOIN – New Demo Dev Diary
VOIN released a new demo along with a new Development update with solo developer Nikita Sozidar. Sozidar makes a on-camera appearance to give players a comedic update on recent changes made to the game after its recent playtest. The first-person hack-and-slash game does not have an announced release date, but you can play a demo of the game on Steam here.
The King is Watching – Announcement Trailer
The King is Watching is a new strategy/puzzle game announced during tinyBuild Connect. The roguelite city-builder is a funny take on the genre, in which your subjects will only work when you’re actually watching them. Players will be tasked with keeping an eye on multiple resource production tasks while defending and upgrading their kingdom. The chaotic indie game is expected to release later this year, and a demo is available to play now on Steam here.
Streets of Rogue 2 – Definitely Not A PC Gaming Show Teaser
Streets of Rogue 2 playfully teased new information being revealed at the upcoming PC Gaming Show. The PC Gaming Show takes place on June 9, so fans of the franchise will have to wait until then for a new update on the upcoming arcade game. However, you can wishlist the game on Steam here.
Rawmen – Release Date Trailer
Rawmen is a free-to-play multiplayer arena game where chefs battle in 4v4 food fights with ridiculous culinary weapons. The release date was revealed today at tinyBuild Connect, penning a July 23 launch on the Epic Games Store. You can wishlist the game here.
Not For Broadcast: The Timeloop – DLC Reveal Trailer
Not For Broadcast announced a new DLC titled The Timeloop, which will bring back the entire FMV news team together again for one last story. This will be the final DLC for the game, and is available to wishlist on Steam here.
Train Valley World – Release Date Trailer
Train Valley World dropped a new trailer, which announced a release date of August 8 on Steam. The tycoon game is an homage to the genre of train simulation and transportation, and the demo is available to play on Steam here.
Punch Club 2: Iron Fist DLC – DLC Reveal Trailer
Punch Club 2 revealed its first DLC, entitled Iron Fist, along with a trailer featuring new gameplay from the upcoming expansion. The fighter management simulator will be releasing the DLC in July, but the full base game is already available for purchase here.
Duckside – Open Beta Trailer
Duckside is a survival-crafting game in the vein of RUST or DayZ, with the unique twist that players will be playing as ducks. The ridiculous PvPvE waterfowl-survival game announced its open beta in a new trailer today with a June 6 release date. The upcoming third-person (or third-mallard) shooter can be wishlisted on Steam here.
I Am Future – Solar Energy Update Overview
I Am Future announced a new update adding solar energy and more to the hit survival crafting game. The cozy post-apocalyptic survival game is currently in beta, and the new update is available right now. Gamers can currently get the game for 35% off on Steam here as a part of the tinyBuild Publisher Sale.
Astor: Blade of the Monolith – Official Release Date Trailer
TinyBuild was also sure to make note of the upcoming release of Astor: Blade of the Monolith, which will be coming to PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on May 30. You can check out the trailer for the action-RPG and add it to your wishlist here.
Kingmakers – Wreak Havoc Trailer
Finally, tinyBuild wrapped up the show with a new look at Kingmakers, a third-person time-travelling shooter game where modern weapons are used to fight medieval wars. Players will be able to fight in massive PvE battles in solo or co-op, with thousands of soldiers on the frontline in titanic-scale sandbox battles. The action-strategy game is set to come out this year, and can be wishlisted on Steam here.
